Virat Kohli’s Brilliant Innings Sends India to Champions Trophy Final

0

Virat Kohli once again proved his cricketing genius, leading India to a comfortable victory over Australia in the first semi-final of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

The Indian batting legend played a composed and match-winning knock of 84 runs off 95 balls, anchoring the chase with key boundaries, and guiding his team closer to the target.

India’s chase began on a shaky note at 30 for one after Shubman Gill’s dismissal. Kohli witnessed another blow soon after, with skipper Rohit Sharma falling to leave India at 34 for two.

Despite the early setbacks, Kohli steadied the ship with a crucial 91-run partnership with Shreyas Iyer, maintaining momentum in the high-pressure knockout match.

The former captain continued to build partnerships, adding 43 runs with Axar Patel before falling to Adam Zampa.

India, however, completed the chase with four wickets in hand, securing a spot in the final for the third consecutive Champions Trophy.

Earlier, Australia posted 264 runs before being bowled out in 49.3 overs.

Steve Smith and Alex Carey played pivotal roles in recovering from an early collapse, with Smith scoring 73 and Carey adding a late 61 to help Australia reach a competitive total.

PCB to Offer Free Iftar at Champions Trophy Semi-Final

0

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that spectators attending the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final between New Zealand and South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be provided with free iftar.

Fans holding valid match tickets will receive an iftar box, which includes dates, juice, and a mini pizza. The initiative aims to enhance the experience for those observing Ramadan, while food and beverages will also be available for purchase at designated stalls within the stadium.

The semi-final is set to begin at 2:00 PM, with iftar expected at 6:05 PM. The PCB emphasized that the initiative is part of its efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for cricket fans.

Meanwhile, in the first semi-final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Australia posted a total of 264 runs before being bowled out in 49.3 overs against India.

Australia’s innings started shakily after Cooper Connolly fell to Mohammed Shami in the third over with just four runs on the board. However, Steve Smith and Alex Carey played key roles in steadying the innings.

Smith top-scored with 73 off 96 balls, forging crucial partnerships with Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, and Josh Inglis. Head contributed 39 off 33 balls, while Carey’s late surge of 61 off 57 balls helped Australia reach a competitive total.

For India, Shami led the bowling attack with three wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja claimed two each.

India’s ICC ODI Legacy: Will They Triumph Over Australia in Champions Trophy Semi-Final?

0

India’s consistency in ICC Men’s ODI tournaments over the past five editions has been nothing short of impressive.

Since the 2015 Cricket World Cup, the team has played 36 matches, winning 30 and losing just six.

Of those six defeats, four came in the finals or semi-finals, underscoring India’s ability to regularly reach the tournament’s final stages.

Their only group-stage losses were against Sri Lanka in the 2017 Champions Trophy and England in the 2019 World Cup.

As India faces Australia in the semi-final of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the challenge of chasing 264 runs on a spin-friendly wicket looms large.

Australia, who batted first, struggled against India’s strong bowling attack. Despite some solid individual performances, Steven Smith and Alex Carey were the standouts, each scoring half-centuries.

Smith made 73 runs off 96 balls, including four boundaries and one six, while Carey contributed 61 runs off 57 balls, with eight boundaries and one six.

With India’s unbeaten run so far in the tournament, the semi-final clash against Australia is shaping up to be a crucial match in their quest for another ICC title.

As of now, India stands at 43 for 2 after nine overs, with skipper Rohit Sharma out for 28 off 29 balls and Virat Kohli on 9 not out.

Watch: Former Cricketer Calls for 90s Cricketers to Step Back from Pakistan Cricket

0

Former captain Rashid Latif has urged 90s cricketers, especially the 1992 World Cup winners, to step away from Pakistan cricket affairs.

Speaking on Harna Mana Hai, a Geo News programme, Latif highlighted the struggle of Green Shirts to secure ICC titles consistently.

He suggested that the continued presence of 90s-era players in the management and decision-making processes might be preventing progress.

Latif pointed out that Pakistan took 17 years to win another World Cup after 1992, implying that the prolonged influence of former players had hindered the development.

He emphasized the need for fresh leadership and a shift in approach, arguing that former cricketers should step aside to allow new talent to thrive.

His comments came in the wake of the early exit of the Men in Green from the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.

The defending champions, who lifted the trophy in 2017 under Sarfaraz Ahmed, endured a disappointing campaign.

Pakistan started their title defense with a 60-run defeat against New Zealand in Karachi on February 19.

A subsequent six-wicket loss to India, fueled by Virat Kohli’s century, further dented their hopes.

Their final group-stage match against Bangladesh was washed out, leaving them with just one point from three games.

PCB Set to Make Major Changes Ahead of New Zealand T20 Series

0

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly planning significant changes to the national squad ahead of the T20 series against New Zealand.

Sources indicate that Shadab Khan is likely to be appointed captain, while Mohammad Yousuf is expected to take over as the head coach.

The shake-up has sparked debate among analysts, with some arguing that these changes appear reactionary rather than part of a long-term strategy.

Pakistan’s recent performances, particularly in the lead-up to Champions Trophy, have raised concerns about the team’s stability and consistency.

While the bowling attack remains strong with key pacers like Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, the batting lineup continues to be a point of contention.

Analysts question whether the squad has enough experienced players to handle pressure situations, especially with a growing influx of young talent.

With the ICC T20 World Cup set to take place in India and Sri Lanka, selectors are keen to balance youth with experience.

However, experts warn that inexperienced players should be carefully integrated into the team rather than being rushed into high-pressure encounters.

Congress Spokesperson Faces Backlash Over Controversial Comments on Rohit Sharma’s Leadership

0

India’s opposition Congress party is under fire following controversial comments made by spokesperson Shama Mohammad about cricket captain Rohit Sharma.

In a tweet, Shama described Rohit as “overweight” and labeled him the “most unimpressive” captain in Indian cricket history.

Her remarks quickly sparked backlash, particularly from members of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and cricket fans.

The Congress party intervened promptly, asking Mohammad to delete the tweet, which she complied with.

In the deleted tweet, Mohammad said, “Rohit Sharma is overweight as a player! He needs to lose weight! And in fact, he is the most unimpressive captain India has ever had!”

Her comments prompted swift criticism, with many accusing her of body-shaming the World Cup-winning captain.

When a Twitter user called Rohit a “world-class player,” Mohammad dismissed the claim, questioning his global standards and calling him an average player and captain.

Radhika Khera, a former Congress member now in the BJP, also condemned the party’s actions, accusing them of belittling athletes over the years.

In defense, Shama Mohammad stated that her tweet was simply a remark on fitness, not body-shaming.

She stressed the importance of athletes maintaining a healthy weight, while Congress distanced itself from her comments and advised more caution.

The controversy unfolded after India’s victory over New Zealand, securing a place in the semifinals of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

PFF Likely to Take Major Step Ahead of Qualifier Against Syria

0

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is preparing a training camp in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, ahead of their AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifier against Syria on March 25.

The PFF Normalization Committee (NC) is working to secure funding from the AFC and FIFA to ensure the camp is successfully executed.

The camp is expected to provide the team with essential preparation time and high-quality facilities for the upcoming match.

Pakistan’s football team has been placed in Group E of the qualifiers, alongside Syria, Afghanistan, and Myanmar.

Matches will be played on a home-and-away basis, with the encounter against Syria marking the beginning of Pakistan’s bid to qualify for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.

The decision to hold the camp in Saudi Arabia is seen as a strategic move due to the availability of world-class facilities and the proximity to Syria, which will allow the team to acclimatize to similar conditions.

It will also offer the coaching staff a chance to evaluate players’ fitness and form, while refining tactical strategies for the match.

A PFF official expressed confidence in securing the necessary financial support, emphasizing that the camp is crucial for the team’s readiness.

The young chess prodigy, a student at a government school, secured victory in just 15 moves.

CM Murad Ali Shah had personally invited her to play, acknowledging her success in national-level competitions.

Her swift win against the chief minister further highlighted her strategic skills and composure under pressure.

Murad Ali Shah praised dedication of Mehak, particularly her ability to balance academics and chess while studying in a public school.

Murad Ali Shah described her as an inspiration for young students across the country.

The Sindh provincial government pledged support for Mehak and aspiring players aiming for international success.

FIFA Lifts Ban on Pakistan Football Federation After Amendments Approval

0

FIFA has lifted the suspension on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) following the approval of constitutional amendments.

The suspension was revoked after the PFF passed the amendments during an Extraordinary Congress held in Lahore last week.

Shahid Khokhar, a member of the PFF Normalisation Committee, confirmed the development and expressed gratitude to both FIFA and the AFC for their continued support.

Khokhar stated that the suspension ended once the amendments were approved in the PFF Congress meeting.

During the Congress, members agreed that accepting FIFA’s proposed amendments was in Pakistan’s best interest, as it would likely lead to the removal of the ban.

FIFA had previously made it clear that the suspension would only be lifted if the PFF Congress approved the constitution as presented by FIFA and the AFC.

With the ban now lifted, the national football team could potentially compete in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, set to begin next month.

The AFC had previously warned that if the suspension was not lifted by March 4, the Pakistan men’s national team would be considered withdrawn from the competition.

Semi-finalists Confirmed After Last Group Stage Game of Champions Trophy

0

The semi-final line-up for the Champions Trophy 2025 has been finalized after India secured a 44-run victory over New Zealand.

The win ensured their top spot in Group A, setting up a high-stakes semi-final clash against Australia at the same venue on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, New Zealand, finishing second in Group A, will face Group B leaders South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

New Zealand and South Africa will now return to Lahore to acclimatize to the conditions before their crucial encounter.

Both Australia and South Africa had previously traveled to Dubai on Saturday, anticipating a potential knockout match against India.

The scheduling adjustments stem from the BCCI refusal to send their team to Pakistan, citing government directives.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) strongly opposed this stance, leading to prolonged negotiations.

Eventually, PCB’s ‘Fusion Formula’ resolved the impasse, ensuring matches in ICC events are played at neutral venues for the next three years.

Remaining Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule

Date Match Venue
March 4 India vs Australia (Semi-final) Dubai
March 5 South Africa vs New Zealand (Semi-final) Lahore
March 9 Final (TBD vs TBD) * Lahore/Dubai *

Shanzay Faryal Challenges Political Inheritance at FCCU

Shanzay Faryal boldly questioned political inheritance at FCCU, criticizing leadership continuity and urging politicians to address real youth concerns.

In HUM DEKHEN GY with Mansoor Ali Khan, the show happened at FC College University. In that show, Mansoor Ali Khan did a QA session with students of political science and mass communication departments in front of PMLN representative Kosar Kazmi and PTI representative and chief organiser of PTI Punjab Aliya Hamza.

Mansoor Ali Khan started the session by informing the PTI and PMLN representatives that these students of FCCU are very sharp-minded and can question anything. They can discuss Maryam Nawaz’s performance, Shahbaz Sharif’s performance, Form 47, or anything.
These students think this system is not providing anything to them. They are getting disappointed. Many students questioned both representatives, but one student, whose name is more prominent among them because of her bold stance and bravery, Shanzay Faryal, dared to break the mould.

In a world where conformity often reigns supreme, Shanzay Faryal, while addressing PMLN representative Kosar Kazmi, said that as Kosar Kazmi said, the reason for disappointment in the young generation is promises of Imran Khan. She said his promises are not the reason for disappointment; the actual reason is inherited politics, which is expediency done upon us, In the form of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

We are seeing this thing that from always there was Nawaz Sharif, then Shahbaz Sharif, then Hamza Shahbaz, then they have imposed Maryam Nawaz upon us through Form 47.

Then they are showing banners of Maryam Nawaz everywhere on roads and in newspapers. Seeing all this weighs heavily on our hearts, causing sadness and frustration.

By seeing graceful and dignified women like Aliya Hamza, who are proud of our nation when these women get tortured in prisons, and still, they work from the root level, and still, they face difficulties, then we get disappointed.

Those who got this country’s politics inherited, their rule over us and their banners are everywhere, then we get disappointed. The argument that those who engage in corruption also contribute to the country’s development is no longer valid.
The current generation, being intelligent and educated, understands that corruption is intolerable. In between this, when Mansoor Ali Khan asked Shanzay Faryal what she did when she saw Maryam Nawaz’s advertisements, then she replied, we don’t see them; we switch the channel.

Shanzay Faryal also advised Kosar Kazmi to try new tricks, these old tricks of making roads, building flyovers, or advertising Maryam Nawaz’s projects, which are not even hers completely; most of them were started in ex-chief minister Usman Buzdar’s tenure. Look at our conditions instead of doing advertisements.

I believe Shanzay Faryal is one of those Pakistanis who are tired of Pakistan’s condition, which is because of these politicians who got this country in inheritance. She wants to say we are conscious enough that we will not bear these things anymore.

Actually, this was a comment of one girl, but the way all the students in her surrounding clapped and appreciated Shanzay Faryal shows that this is not a stance of one girl; all of them feel the same way. She said the exact same thing that every educated or conscious person thinks: that these advertisements spending millions or billions on banners and advertisements will have a negative impact on their politics.

The people around Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are misguiding her that just doing advertisements and everything will be fine; these advertisements in newspapers are of no use to them. Maryam Nawaz can see how these youngsters are reacting to this. She should see that whole program.
The second thing is the way Maryam Nawaz visited universities, hugged the students, and cried in front of them. No one will say anything bad to her in front of her. She should go and start talking with these students without her protocol and security.

Aliya Hamza and Kosar Kazmi were brave enough that they came and sat in front of these students, like one student asked Aliya Hamza that when Nawaz Sharif got punished in a corruption case, you used to say he is corrupt, he is a thief and liar. Today Imran Khan is also in jail. Would you say that we should call him a thief and corrupt in the same way? These are very tough questions.

Maryam Nawaz should listen to these students. If Maryam Nawaz truly wants to do anything, I advise her to approach these youngsters alone and ask them questions. You cannot resolve anything until you are aware of the ground reality.

Ahmed Shehzad Mocks Rizwan’s ‘Win or Learn’ Remark After Pakistan’s Exit

0

Ahmed Shehzad has criticized white-ball captain, Mohammad Rizwan, following the early exit from the Champions Trophy 2025.

The Green Shirts were eliminated after consecutive defeats to New Zealand and India in the group stage.

In a discussion on his YouTube channel with sports journalist Vikrant Gupta and pacer Mohammad Amir, Shehzad analyzed Pakistan’s performance.

When Gupta referenced Rizwan’s popular phrase, “Ya to win hai, ya to learn hai” (It’s either a win or a lesson), Shehzad sarcastically remarked that the team had been doing plenty of learning but not winning.

Following Pakistan’s final group-stage match against Bangladesh, which was abandoned due to rain, Rizwan addressed the team’s struggles in the post-match presentation.

Acknowledging their recent poor performances, including setbacks in the home tri-nation ODI series, he admitted they had failed to meet expectations.

Rizwan emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and expressed hope for improvement in the upcoming New Zealand tour.

He also highlighted the need for professionalism and game awareness to compete with top teams.

Accepting responsibility for the disappointing campaign, he assured fans that the team would work towards better results in future tournaments.

FIFA Likely to Lift Ban on Pakistan Football Federation

0

FIFA is expected to lift the ban on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) after the country’s governing body approved proposed constitutional amendments.

In a statement, the PFF confirmed that its newly elected Congress had endorsed FIFA’s recommended changes during an Extraordinary Congress meeting.

The session, led by PFF President Saud Azim Hashimi, focused on aligning the federation’s constitution with FIFA’s regulations.

Congress members emphasized that approving the amendments was crucial for Pakistan football, as it could pave the way for lifting the ban imposed by FIFA earlier this month.

The global football body had previously stated that the suspension would only be reversed once the PFF adopted the revised constitution, developed in collaboration with FIFA and the AFC.

If the ban is removed, Pakistan’s national team may be allowed to compete in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled to begin next month.

The meeting was attended by top FIFA and AFC officials, including AFC Deputy General Secretary Vahid Kardany, FIFA’s Head of MA Governance Rolf Tanner, and AFC’s Head of South Asia Unit Purushottam Kattel.

Kardany praised Congress members for their commitment to reforms and acknowledged the Normalization Committee’s role in overseeing the transition.

Partners for the event include Barrick, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL), Pakistan Minerals Private Limited (PMPL), Frontier Works Organization (FWO), Mari Energies, and Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC).

During the event, the Federal Government will formally unveil Pakistan’s newly developed, investor-friendly National Minerals Harmonisation Framework 2025. This policy framework aims to attract investment in the country’s mineral sector.

PMIF25 will bring together high-level government representatives, foreign and local investors, leading corporations, policymakers, international diplomats, financial organizations, and industry experts to explore lucrative opportunities in Pakistan’s mining sector. The event will highlight recent policy reforms, large-scale mining potential, and the country’s commitment to sustainable resource development, reinforcing its ambition to become a global mining hub.

The event represents a transformative opportunity for Pakistan’s mining sector by fostering local and international partnerships and promoting responsible mining practices. With a rich geological landscape and investor-friendly policies, Pakistan is well-positioned to attract global investments that drive economic growth and establish the country as a premier mining destination. Pakistan is rich in minerals, including copper, gold, lithium, and rare earth elements, which are essential for industries such as renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure development.

The forum aims to facilitate discussions on infrastructure development and technological advancements in the mining sector. As global demand for minerals continues to rise, PMIF25 will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Pakistan’s minerals sector, driving strategic partnerships, and positioning the country as a key player in the global mineral market.

AKU in Pakistan Honours Founder, 473 Graduates

0

With Princess Zahra Aga Khan in attendance, 473 women and men graduated from the Aga Khan University (AKU) in Pakistan on Wednesday, as the University paid tribute to its late Founder and first Chancellor, His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. AKU also welcomed His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V as its new Chancellor, and Princess Zahra as its Pro-Chancellor.

Students earned bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in 16 different fields in nursing, medicine and education. More than 70 percent of the graduates are women. To date, AKU has awarded nearly 16,000 degrees, diplomas and postgraduate certificates in Pakistan.

“Our founding Chancellor once said that the cornerstone of his vision was opportunity – the opportunity to build a better life for oneself and one’s family,” President Sulaiman Shahabuddin said. “In Pakistan, His Highness created opportunities for millions of people through AKU and the AKDN. Looking out at the Class of 2024 today, I see women and men who are, without question, ready to play their part in creating a world that is rich in opportunity.”

Rift Between Rizwan and Aqib Javed Contributes to Team’s Early Exit

0

Pakistan’s early exit from the Champions Trophy 2025 has disappointed fans and raised concerns about the team’s performance.

Reports suggest internal discord between captain Mohammad Rizwan and head coach Aqib Javed over key selection decisions played a significant role in the team’s downfall.

Sources indicate a rift between Rizwan and Javed, particularly regarding the inclusion of players.

Rizwan pushed for Khushdil Shah’s selection, while Javed opted for Faheem Ashraf without consulting the captain.

This disagreement is believed to have created a lack of cohesion within the team.

Adding to the tension, despite Mohsin Naqvi’s recommendation to reassess the squad twice before finalizing the lineup, his advice was disregarded.

Naqvi chose not to intervene further, avoiding unilateral decisions in light of the ongoing friction.

Following the disappointing performance, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a comprehensive review of the team’s shortcomings and areas in need of improvement.

Aqib Javed, temporarily appointed as head coach, confirmed that he does not intend to resign but will step down as the board moves forward with necessary changes.

The selection committee is also expected to come under scrutiny, with the PCB facing pressure to make difficult decisions in response to public backlash.

Is it for Fun or Serious? Mushtaq Ahmed to File Defamation Lawsuit Against Wasim and Waqar

0

Mushtaq Ahmed has announced plans to file a Rs 35 crore defamation lawsuit against Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, accusing of harassment.

The leg-break spinner revealed in a YouTube video that his legal team would issue formal notices to both cricketers.

The former cricketer clarified that while he respects fair criticism, he believes their actions crossed the line into harassment.

Mushtaq intends to seek Rs 20 crore in damages from Waqar Younis and Rs 15 crore from Wasim Akram.

Despite their long-standing association in cricketing history, tensions appear to have risen, prompting Mushtaq to take legal action.

While the nature of the alleged harassment remains unspecified, Mushtaq made it clear that he seeks accountability for the alleged behavior.

In response to claims made by Mushtaq, Waqar apologized, while Wasim Akram dismissed the allegations and planned a legal response.

Some observers saw the exchange as lighthearted, with Waqar suggesting it could enhance the entertainment value of show.

Pakistan to Visit Bangladesh for White-Ball Series This Year

0

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is considering hosting Pakistan for a white-ball series in July-August, though no final decision has been reached.

A BCB confirmed that discussions are ongoing, with both showing a positive outlook on the proposed series, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is.

Reports suggest PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and BCB President Faruque Ahmed discussed the series during a meeting in Dubai amid the Champions Trophy.

Bangladesh is already scheduled to tour Pakistan in late May for a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series under the ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP).

Now, the BCB is assessing the feasibility of hosting Pakistan for another white-ball series later in the year.

BCB Cricket Operations Head Shahriar Nafees stated that talks between the two boards are ongoing and both sides are optimistic about the potential series.

After the Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe in a two-Test series in mid-April, with matches in Sylhet and Chattogram.

Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka in June-July and India in August-September, with both series featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

Police Officers Dismissed for Duty Refusal During Champions Trophy

0

The DIG of Police Operations dismissed 115 officers for neglecting their security duties during the Champions Trophy at Gaddafi Stadium.

Media reports confirmed that several Police officers either missed their shifts, refused duties, or were late on spots.

Reports revealed that among those were officers named Atiq, Zain, Ali, Sheeraz, Shan, Zubair, Adi, and several others.

Before the Champions Trophy matches, the department of Punjab Police had put in place strict security protocols.

A total of 12,564 officers and personnel were deployed across Lahore and Rawalpindi to ensure the smooth operation of the event.

Of this number, 7,618 officers were assigned to Lahore, while 4,535 officers were stationed in Rawalpindi.

Furthermore, 411 officers from the Special Branch were deployed to assist in securing both cities during the tournament.

Sethi Blames Imran Khan’s Govt for Ruining Pakistan Cricket

0

Najam Sethi has expressed concerns over the poor performance of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, blaming flawed policies and mismanagement.

Sethi, who led the PCB until 2019, pointed to the changes made after his tenure, which he believes affected the performance of the team.

He questioned how a team, once a champion of the 1992 World Cup and 2017 Champions Trophy, now struggles against lower-ranked teams.

Sethi said the turning point came in 2019 when the new management, under a different Prime Minister, changed the domestic cricket structure.

The introduction of an Australian hybrid model weakened the national team and destabilized the entire cricket framework.

Sethi highlighted that political interference, inconsistent policies, and frequent changes in coaching staff contributed to the instability.

He also criticized the hiring of previously discarded players in leadership roles, which led to conflicts over captaincy and internal divisions.

Pakistan’s elimination from the 2024 Champions Trophy after losses to New Zealand and India reinforced these concerns.

The team will face Bangladesh in their final group-stage match on February 28 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with hopes of regaining some momentum.

The Consequences of Corruption, Lawlessness, and Lack of Education in Pakistan

0

Corruption, lawlessness, and poor governance plague Pakistan, from biker lanes to hospitals. Can accountability and education fix this broken system?

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered rulers to stop drug counterfeiting and did an operation against involved persons.

The question here is what order. He should simply give a target to relevant individuals that within six months they have to stop drug counterfeiting, and if these relevant individuals are not able to stop this corruption and drug counterfeiting, then they will be faced with legal complications; they will become a warning sign for the whole country.

Until people in top positions are disloyal and corrupt, the relevant individuals in smaller positions will also be corrupt. If the water at the top of the glacier is dirty, the below stream will become dirty.
The same violation occurred on the biker’s lane when many buses and rickshaws drove on the biker’s lane, which caused many accidents. I encouraged this idea of a separate lane for bikes; I still appreciate it.

This is a very good initiative. I suggest the Punjab government should be careful and remain steadfast because they are responsible for this bad condition of Punjab; they have to try a hundred times for the betterment of Punjab, Pakistan.

The ancestors of these leaders of the Punjab government did not educate this nation on what an idea can do when this nation is not educated enough to respect the law. People who bring their cars, rickshaws, and buses on biker lanes in this matter do not fault this great initiative by the Punjab government.

The idea itself is very good. I always used to think if they can manage traffic, it will start changing the behaviours of the people of this nation. If one can stop on a red signal with a smiling face, believe me, the people around this individual will observe a change in the behaviour of that individual.
Now there is another thing: after the rains of the last two weeks, the paint of the biker’s lane faded off. Definitely, there would be corrupt people who did corruption on paint. There is no fault of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in this; she gave a good idea, but now she cannot paint by herself.

She gave the great idea, and thieves implemented it, and the results are in front of us. Additionally, those animals in human costumes who are driving their rickshaws, cars, and buses on biker’s roads—why is this?

Why is the Punjab government faced with embarrassment on every good idea? because they and their ancestors, who were ruling this country, did not educate this nation. This is a seventy-seven-year-old nation. They are habitual of violence, corruption, and disloyalty to their nation.

No one educated them about this, and we are seeing the consequences of this with our own eyes. At least educate the new generation. Do mercy on them; at least you do not have time to educate the previous generations, but at least think about the coming generations.

The Punjab government should remain steadfast and make an example of that corrupt thief who did corruption on the biker lane project. Do not try to save that thief; only one or two rains and the paint disappears. It’s not even a rainy season yet.

I had no clue that this could happen in such a small project. I thought there was no huge amount of money in this project; at least they would do this project in a well-organised way, but they disappointed us again. But the Punjab government should remain steadfast.

I believe the Punjab government should not overstretch. Move forward but slowly so that they can do their projects with perfection. 1122 will be alive, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, even after 100 years. Why? Because it was a great initiative and is still in operational condition.

Why has this government opened so many fronts? Hitler and Napoleon made the same mistake; they opened too many fronts and were defeated. This government should stop opening so many fronts and instead focus on fewer but sustainable projects.
Another example of this uneducated nation is the recent incident that happened in the biggest hospital in Lahore, Mayo Hospital, when in the orthopaedic ward, 13 people used the lift, which had a maximum capacity of 6 people at a time, and as a result, 11 nurses got injured and 2 got their legs fractured.

Did not these nurses get educated? They were, but this nation has grown up with this mentality that they have to violate the rules. They should know that this is a lift, not Pakistan, which is so audacious that you can do anything with this country, and it will bear it.

That’s why I say education, education, education: these political leaders of Pakistan have made our literacy rate zero. They want this nation to be uneducated. At least educate them about basic civic sense.

You can see the whole country in this incident. Where thirteen nurses tried to fit in a lift that had a maximum capacity of six. The same thing is happening in Pakistan. One of the reasons for the destruction of railways and PIA is this: they try to fit thirteen where only six can be fitted. The steel mill’s destruction reason was also this.

Where there will be violations of law and corruption in projects, these incidents will take place there as well. And this nation will get wounds.

Group B Standings & Qualification Scenarios

0

The much-important Australia-South Africa Champions Trophy match was washed out, with both teams sharing a point.

With India and New Zealand through, the Group B semi-final race remains open with all four teams in contention.

South Africa tops the table with three points and a +2.140 net run rate, with Australia second on equal points.

England and Afghanistan have yet to score but remain in contention. Here are the qualification scenarios.

  • South Africa: A win against England guarantees a semi-final spot. A loss would still keep them in contention if England loses at least one of their remaining games.
  • Australia: A victory over Afghanistan secures qualification. A loss means they must rely on South Africa beating England.
  • England: Needs to win both remaining matches to advance. A loss against Afghanistan would eliminate them.
  • Afghanistan: Must defeat both Australia and South Africa to qualify.

Over 1,000 Musicians Release Silent Album to Protest UK Copyright Changes on AI

0

Over 1,000 musicians, including Kate Bush, Cat Stevens, and Annie Lennox, have released a silent album to protest UK copyright changes on AI.

The album, Is This What We Want, features recordings from empty studios and spaces, symbolising growing opposition to the potential changes.

The proposed changes would allow AI developers to use available material for training, requiring creators to opt out to protect their work.

Musicians argue this would undermine copyright law’s core principle, granting creators exclusive control over their content.

The rise of AI has sparked concerns in music industries over the ethics and legality of AI-generated content without compensating original creators.

Kate Bush and other musicians condemn proposed changes as a “giveaway” to tech giants in open letter to The Times.

Ed Newton-Rex, the organiser of the silent album project, stated that musicians are united in their strong disapproval of the plan.

In a rare move, UK newspapers launched a campaign highlighting the issue, featuring wrap-around ads and editorials.

The public consultation on the legal changes is set to close later on Tuesday.

A government spokesperson defended the proposed changes, claiming the current copyright and AI regime limits the creative potential.

Pat Cummins Acknowledges India’s Advantage in Champions Trophy

0

Pat Cummins has said that India holds an advantage in the Champions Trophy due to the fact that all their matches are being played in Dubai.

The injured Australian captain highlighted that this gives India a notable edge, especially given their already strong team.

He pointed out that while the event is progressing well, the advantage of India lies in playing at a single venue.

The Men in Blue entered the event after whitewashing the strong England in the three match ODI series at home.

India has already claimed victories against Bangladesh and Pakistan in the tournament, both by six wickets.

These wins have earned them four points, placing them in second on the group table, with their position determined by net run rate.

With these results, India is set to play its first semi-final at the same venue in Dubai International Stadium.

Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal spearheads the First Provincial Workshop on Uraan Pakistan

0

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated the first provincial workshop on Uraan Pakistan at CM Sindh House Karachi today. The session was graced by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Senior federal and provincial bureaucrats, and prominent people from civil society, business community, academia and media.

In his welcome note, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Syed Nasir Hussain Shah told the workshop participants that Sindh is the flag bearer province in implementing the 5Es framework of Uraan Pakistan program as it is already working on projects aimed at economic revival, energy generation and conservation of environment.

Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal expressed honor to have inaugurated the first ever provincial workshop on Uraan Pakistan. He termed the workshop as a stepping stone and a sign of synchronisation between the Federal and Provincial Government on the revival of Pakistan’s economy.

Hinting towards the economic progress and comparison of Pakistan and India, the federal minister said that the two neighbours will be celebrating their 100 years of independence in 2047, and if the goals of Uraan Pakistan are effectively accomplished, Pakistan will be proudly boasting a vibrant economy worth 3 trillion dollars. He expressed hope ad optimism in Pakistan’s young talent by asserting that the country is blessed with bright minds and unlimited resources but the need of the hour is to utilize these resources for the development of the country.

He stressed on the importance of export led growth and urged all the stakeholders to play their part in promoting exports. He remained hopeful that Pakistan can also achieve 10% growth rate if all economic targets are achieved strategically.

The federal minister further said that Pakistan had developed different economic plans in the past to revive its economy but those plans failed as a result of political instability, inconsistent policies, and clash between three state pillars. Minister Ahsan Iqbal asserted that the state machinery, today, is unanimous on the single point that Pakistan cannot afford to miss any chance for progress and Uraan Pakistan is the nation’s last attempt towards economic glory and development.

Mentioning important figures demonstrating the state of health and education, the minister stated that 40% children are malnourished and stunted, only 13% achieve tertiary education, and population growth is around 2.5%. Regrettably, he continued, despite the passage of 30 years, Pakistan’s development indicators are still as low as those of African countries, therefore, it is imperative for the nation to make concerted efforts in improving the state of education, poverty, population explosion and health. He announced that despite health being a provincial subject, Federal Government will grant supplementary funds to Sindh to control malnutrition, Hepatitis C and other health issues.

CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah acknowledged the Federal Government’s sincerity in ensuring economic revival and assured that Sindh is working diligently by following the footsteps of Federal Government on the 5Es dimension of Uraan Pakistan. He thanked Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal for spearheading the workshop and stated that Sindh Government is ready to extend full assistance for implementing the goals of Uraan Pakistan.

CM Sindh further said that the targets included in 5Es framework are already part of his party’s manifesto, asserting that education holds superiority amongst them.

He acknowledged Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s sincerity in enabling ports up to their full potential but lamented that current exports are less because Karachi port has a transit time of few hours in the night only, therefore, there is a pressing need to equip the province with requisite infrastructure and roads in order to meet the target of boosting exports.

Galatasaray Accuse Mourinho of Racist Remarks, Plan Legal Action

0

Galatasaray accused Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho of racism and plan to take legal action after their 0-0 Super Lig draw.

He did not specify, but Mourinho said the home bench was “jumping like monkeys” and a Turkish referee would have ruined the match.

The game was overseen by Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic after both clubs requested a foreign official.

Galatasaray claimed on social media that Mourinho had made derogatory remarks about Turks since joining the league.

They stated that his comments had escalated to inhumane rhetoric and confirmed plans to file complaints with UEFA and FIFA.

Mourinho and Fenerbahce have yet to respond, though the coach has previously faced fines and suspensions for remarks about Turkish referees.

In the post-match press conference, Mourinho thanked Vincic, implying a Turkish referee would have officiated poorly.

He was also critical of the animated reactions from bench, suggesting that a Turkish referee might have penalized his team unfairly.

The controversy has intensified tensions between the Istanbul rivals, with legal action potentially setting a precedent.

The Turkish Football Federation and governing bodies may now be compelled to intervene as the situation unfolds.

Even India’s B team would challenge Pakistan,” says former Indian captain

0

Former Indian cricket great Sunil Gavaskar has criticized the performance of Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025.

The Men in Green eliminated in the group stage after losing their first two games against New Zealand and India.

In an interview, Gavaskar remarked that current team lacked the strength to challenge even the second-string Indian team.

He suggested that Pakistan would struggle to compete against India’s bench players, highlighting a significant gap in team depth.

He also pointed out the lack of intent from Pakistani batters, recalling how the aggressive start from Rizwan quickly faded.

He noted that after hitting a boundary off the first ball, Rizwan and the other batters became overly defensive, failing to rotate the strike.

The Indian spinners, he observed, completed their overs swiftly, while Pakistan’s batters showed little urgency.

He noted that while the IPL and Ranji Trophy strengthen the depth of India, Pakistan has failed to produce top batters despite the PSL.

Pakistan, co-hosting the tournament, became the first team alongside Bangladesh to be eliminated.

The Green Shirts, who won the title in 2017 under Sarfaraz Ahmed, suffered back-to-back defeats.

Pakistan Knocked Out of Champions Trophy After New Zealand Beats Bangladesh

0

Pakistan has now been eliminated from the Champions Trophy 2025 after New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets.

The Green Shirts are currently at bottom of points table after losing first two games against New Zealand and India.

New Zealand and India have qualified for the semi-finals with four points, and the journey of Bangladesh has also come to an end.

In the recent game, New Zealand chased down a total of 237 runs, thanks to a magnificent hundred from Rachin Ravindra.

Bangladesh failed to defend 229 runs against India in their first game, with the Men in Blue chasing down the total in the 47th over.

The Men in Green will play Bangladesh in their third game of the tournament on February 27 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

India and New Zealand, on the other hand, will lock horns in their last group-stage game on March 2 at Dubai International Stadium.

England Eyes Longer Test Series Against Pakistan and South Africa

0

England plans to extend five-match Test series to teams beyond Australia and India, with Pakistan and South Africa as top contenders.

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) seeks to boost Test cricket by extending series to enhance its narrative depth.

The earliest opportunity for this shift comes in 2028, a year when England will not be hosting Australia or India in Test cricket.

The ECB is exploring options for four- or five-match series, with strong consideration given to a full five-Test contest.

The strong ties of Pakistan and South Africa and fan support in England make them ideal candidates for the series.

Since a 3-1 win over South Africa in 2017, England has not hosted a non-Ashes or non-India series longer than three matches.

England famously secured a 2-1 comeback victory over South Africa in 1998 and played out a dramatic 2-2 draw in 2003.

Pakistan last played a four-match series in England in 2016, claiming a 2-2 draw with a decisive win at The Oval.

The proposed expansion will not increase the overall Test matches of England but will restructure existing fixtures.

In 2028, England may host a four- or five-Test series, supplemented by a shorter series against another team.

The ECB hopes to inspire teams like South Africa, which recently fielded a weakened squad in New Zealand, to prioritize Test cricket.

Former Captain Explains Why Babar Azam Is Not the Real King

0

Mohammad Hafeez criticized Babar Azam for his underperformance in six-wicket defeat to India in the Champions Trophy 2025.

Hafeez, in his remarks, questioned the ability of Babar to deliver in high-pressure games, especially in matches against India.

Hafeez noted that despite his talent, 23 runs off 26 balls against India still lacked a match-winning performance.

He drew comparisons with past Pakistani cricketers, highlighting their significant contributions in crucial moments against India.

Hafeez highlighted performances of Shoaib Akhtar, Younis Khan, and Shoaib Malik in high-stakes matches, suggesting Babar’s record fell short.

Hafeez criticized his record in overseas conditions, contrasting it with the success of  Inzamam in tough environments like Australia and England.

He called for introspection, suggesting it might be time to give emerging talents a chance in challenging circumstances.

After defeats to India and New Zealand, Pakistan is in jeopardy as they face Bangladesh in their final group match on February 27.

Rizwan Responds to Criticism for Not Including 5th Bowler in Playing XI

0

Mohammad Rizwan has defended the decision to include only one specialist spinner in the  squad for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Abrar Ahmed is the sole specialist spinner in the squad, with Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah serving as part-time spin options.

This choice has been questioned by several former cricketers, especially given the conditions in Pakistan and the UAE.

After a six-wicket defeat to India, Rizwan defended the decision, stating that fielding five specialist bowlers in an ODI is not feasible.

He pointed out that teams like New Zealand and India also rely on part-time spinners to balance their bowling line-ups.

Rizwan expressed confidence in Agha and Shah, describing them as the best available all-rounders for the team.

He explained that opting for two genuine spinners would require sacrificing a bowler or batter, which would disrupt balance.

In the last five ODIs, Khushdil Shah and Agha Salman bowled 58.4 overs, taking just two wickets at an average of 165.00.

This lack of a specialist fifth bowler has left the attack vulnerable, exposing the inability of bowling unit to build pressure in the middle overs.

Babar Azam’s Struggles Against Spin: A Comparative Look Before and After 2022

0

Star Pakistani batter Babar Azam is widely regarded as one of most talented batters Pakistan has ever produced.

The former captain has made his mark in ODI cricket, often being compared to some of the great batters of modern day cricket.

His performances in the ODI have earned him a spot at the top of the ICC ODI rankings for years, until Shubman Gill overtook him recently.

However, a closer look at the performances of Babar Azam against spin bowling reveals a shift in his form.

Before December 2021, Babar maintained a stellar average of 51.72 and a strike rate of 88.49 of spinning in 50-over format.

His performance against spin was even more impressive, with an average of 143.33 and a strike rate of 91.00 in away spin.

Since January 2022, however, the performances of right-hander against spin have declined significantly.

His overall average dropped to 21.80, with a strike rate of 67.65. Against spin, his average fell drastically to 65.20, with a strike rate of 90.05.

Time Period Overall Average Overall Strike Rate Spin Average Spin Strike Rate

Hafeez Criticizes National Bowling Trio After Defeat to India

0

Former captain Mohammad Hafeez slammed pace trio—Shaheen, Naseem, and Haris for their poor show against India in Dubai.

Speaking to the media, Hafeez expressed disappointment over the continued struggles of pacers since the 2023 Asia Cup.

Hafeez noted their poor performances across major events, from the ODI and T20 World Cups to the Champions Trophy build-up.

He emphasized the need for change, stating that despite their talent, they had yet to prove themselves in high-stakes tournaments.

The former captain urged Pakistan to give chances to Mohammad Ali, Khurram Shahzad, Wasim Jr., Akif Javed, and Mir Hamza.

The former all-rounder questioned the impact of Babar Azam in key matches, comparing him to legend Inzamam-ul-Haq.

Looking at the performances of trio in the event, Shaheen Afridi struggled, conceding 68 runs vs. New Zealand and 72 vs. India.

Naseem Shah took two wickets against the Blackcaps but went wicketless in his eight-over spell against India.

Haris Rauf was not impressive leaking 83 runs vs. New Zealand and 52 vs. India, remaining wicketless.

How much has Pakistan’s reliance on part-time spinners cost them?

0

Pakistan suffered yet another setback in the Champions Trophy, with their chances of reaching the semi-finals now hanging by a thread.

After failing to chase 320 against New Zealand in their opening match, they have now fallen short in defending a modest total of 241 against India.

The struggles of National bowling unit have been a major concern, with their inability to contain opposition batters costing them crucial games.

Relying on part-time spinners as the fifth bowling option in the recent games has cast further doubt on bowling strength.

Over the last five ODIs this month, Khushdil Shah and Agha Salman have collectively bowled 58.4 overs, managing only two wickets at a staggering average of 165.00.

This lack of a specialist fifth bowler has left the attack vulnerable, exposing the inability of bowling unit to build pressure in the middle overs.

Babar Azam Achieves Yet Another Milestone

0

Babar Azam reached a major milestone during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash against India in Dubai.

The former captain become only the third Pakistani to score over 1,000 runs in 50-over ICC tournaments.

The right-hander only managed to score 23 runs off 26 balls, striking five boundaries against the arch-rivals.

While his innings was short-lived, it was enough to etch his name alongside legendary batters Saeed Anwar and Javed Miandad.

Anwar remains Pakistan’s highest run-scorer in ICC ODI tournaments with 1,204 runs, followed by Miandad with 1,083.

Babar now joins them with 1,014 runs. He achieved this feat in just 24 innings, making him the fastest Pakistani to reach the milestone.

He surpassed Anwar, who took 25 innings, while Miandad reached the mark in 30 innings.

Fastest to 1,000 Runs in ICC ODI Events for Pakistan

Player Innings Total Runs
Babar Azam 24 1,014
Saeed Anwar 25 1,204
Javed Miandad 30 1,083

Kohli Brings India Closer to Victory While Achieving Milestone

0

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has added another milestone to his illustrious career by surpassing 14,000 runs in ODIs.

The right-hander is now the third batter to achieve this feat, joining legends Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.

The former captain set a new record by reaching this landmark in just 287 innings, making him the fastest to do so.

Tendulkar had previously held the record, achieving the milestone in 350 innings, while Sangakkara took 378 innings.

Meanwhile, the Men in Green batting struggles continued as they posted a modest total of 241 runs against India.

Saud Shakeel was the only batter to score a half-century, anchoring the innings as wickets tumbled around him.

After electing to bat first, Pakistan’s opening duo of Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq made a promising start, adding 33 runs.

However, India’s Hardik Pandya provided an early breakthrough, dismissing Babar caught behind.

The batting lineup failed to build on the start, with Pakistan eventually bowled out in the final over.

India is in control of the chase, with Kohli scoring 65 off 77 balls as they reach 175 while pursuing a 242-run target.

Pakistan’s Music Streaming Boom: The Era of Unexpected Hits

0

If there’s one thing the past year has made clear, it’s that Pakistan’s music scene is no longer predictable. Gone are the days when a handful of mainstream artists dictated the charts.

Today, independent musicians, experimental genres, and even posthumous releases are taking center stage. Late 2024 and early 2025 have been nothing short of revolutionary for the industry, with a surge in streaming numbers proving that audiences are hungry for something new.

For years, pop and soft rock ruled the Pakistani music industry, but 2024 saw hip hop make an unprecedented breakthrough. Talha Anjum, a name once associated with underground rap battles, has now officially topped Spotify’s most-streamed local artists in Pakistan.

This marks a shift in listener preferences; story driven rap with raw, unfiltered lyrics has replaced the polished love ballads that once dominated playlists. Tracks like Downers at Dusk became instant anthems, proving that the younger generation craves music that speaks to their reality.

If 2023 belonged to Kahani Suno, 2024 and early 2025 belong to the new wave of independent artists who have redefined Pakistani music. Jhol by Maanu and Annural Khalid became one of the most streamed songs. Meanwhile, Kaifi Khalil continued to capture hearts with Kahani Meri, a song that’s been described as both heartbreaking and hypnotic.

At the same time, Pakistani music is no longer confined to local listeners. Tu Hai Kahan by AUR not only became a viral sensation but also made waves internationally, getting a nod from Indian playback singers.

Spotify reveals pakistan preferencesPerhaps the most significant takeaway from this era is how drastically music consumption habits have changed. Spotify reports a 54% increase in local music streaming, and YouTube trends show that more Pakistanis are actively searching for homegrown artists rather than relying on Bollywood imports.

TikTok has also played a crucial role, with viral trends turning lesser known songs into national obsessions overnight, namely songs like Sadqay by Aashir Wajahat, NAYEL, and Nehaal Naseem.

With the industry evolving at lightning speed, one thing is clear: the future of Pakistani music is unpredictable, and that’s exactly what makes it exciting.

Whether it’s underground rap or indie pop, listeners are proving that they’re open to everything, as long as it’s authentic. If 2024 was about breaking barriers, 2025 looks like it’s about rewriting the rules entirely.

Crumble Pakistan: Agha Abdullah’s Cookie Business Mastering the Art of Gen Z Marketing

In an industry where most food brands rely on polished advertisements and influencer endorsements, Crumble Pakistan has taken a radically different approach.

It doesn’t just sell cookies, it sells a personality. Founded by Agha Abdullah, a student at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI), Crumble has built a name for itself not just through its products but through an unfiltered, wildly humorous marketing strategy that has captivated audiences across Pakistan.

At the heart of its success is Huzaifa, the creative force behind its digital presence. Where most businesses carefully curate their online image, Crumble thrives on wit and spontaneity, engaging in sarcastic banter with customers, turning everyday interactions into viral content, and building a brand that feels more like a friend than a business.

According to Statista:

  • In Pakistan, ad spending in the Social Media Advertising market is projected to reach US$64.43m in 2025.
  • The ad spending in this market is expected to exhibit an annual growth rate (CAGR 2025-2030) of 8.00%, leading to a projected market volume of US$94.67m by 2030.

Contrary to this, Crumble is investing in organic social media and influencer marketing to resonate with it’s targeted market which happens to be Gen Z.

Crumble’s social media presence is unlike anything seen in Pakistan’s food industry. It doesn’t rely on high-budget promotional videos or scripted testimonials. Instead, it embraces a playful, conversational tone that resonates deeply with Gen Z.

The brand jokes with followers, playfully responds to customer queries, and turns viral trends into cookie themed content that gets people talking. This approach has done something remarkable, it has made Crumble’s social media pages more than just platforms for promotion.

They have become a space where people return daily, not necessarily to buy, but to be entertained. And that entertainment keeps crumble constantly in the public eye, ensuring that when the craving for cookies strikes, there is only one name that comes to mind.

While Agha Abdullah laid the foundation for Crumble, it is Huzaifa’s marketing genius that has turned it into a brand unlike any other. His approach is deeply rooted in understanding what makes internet culture tick.

He doesn’t see social media as a one-way promotional tool but as an interactive playground where humor, engagement, and relatability drive attention. Instead of treating customers as mere buyers, Crumble treats them as an audience. Its content is not structured around the usual corporate messaging but crafted as entertainment-first, sales-second.

By inserting itself into trending conversations, creating inside jokes with its followers, and responding to comments with the kind of wit usually reserved for stand-up comedians, Crumble has managed to build a fan base rather than just a customer base.

Crumble’s success raises an important question: Why do people gravitate toward a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously? The answer lies in the way modern consumers, particularly younger generations, interact with brands. Traditional advertising often feels distant, calculated, and transactional.

Crumble, on the other hand, feels alive, unpredictable, and deeply human. Its marketing approach is reminiscent of global brands that have mastered the art of digital engagement namingly Wendy’s Twitter persona, Duolingo’s irreverent TikToks, and Netflix’s witty social media replies.

These brands thrive not by aggressively selling but by embedding themselves into everyday digital conversations. Crumble has managed to replicate this model within Pakistan, proving that local businesses can build global-level engagement with the right mix of creativity and authenticity.

Virality is unpredictable, and what works today may not work tomorrow. The challenge for Crumble now is to evolve without losing the charm that made it successful in the first place. Can it maintain its humorous edge while scaling up operations? Will its approach translate to physical stores, larger production facilities, or even expansion beyond Pakistan?.

If its current trajectory is anything to go by, Crumble is more than just a fleeting internet sensation. It is a case study in how humour, engagement, and a refusal to conform to traditional marketing norms can propel a brand into the cultural spotlight. More importantly, it has shown that in a crowded market, sometimes the best way to stand out is simply to make people smile.
