Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a free laptop scheme for students, promising distribution on par with Punjab.

CM KP assured that if Punjab allocated laptops to a certain proportion of students, his province would follow a similar approach.

He also urged authorities in Punjab to introduce a health insurance program resembling  Sehat Card Plus initiative in KP.

He noted that the entire population of his province was covered under the Sehat Card, with an additional life insurance plan now in place.

He encouraged Punjab to extend comparable healthcare benefits to its residents.

While highlighting economic progress, Gandapur claimed a 55% increase in provincial revenue despite financial challenges.

He contrasted this with Punjab’s reported 12% growth, suggesting that Punjab should aim for a similar revenue boost.

CM said KP achieved a Rs176 billion budget surplus, meeting IMF targets, while Punjab missed its Rs300 billion goal, running a Rs146 billion deficit.

Gandapur announced financial assistance for 4,000 underprivileged brides, with each receiving Rs200,000 to support their wedding expenses.
