Guidelines for Submission
Word limit for news stories: Minimum 300 words, maximum 700 words
Word limit for opinion pieces: Minimum 700 words, maximum 1,000 words
We encourage original commentaries and features that relate to the news cycle, make sound arguments backed with evidence and have a reasonable quality of writing. If you are providing data, citing references please use hyperlinks to back your claim. Also we will not accept submissions that are written in an academic style. Please do not use footnotes or endnotes. Incorporate them in the text or use hyperlinks. For features, it is vital that facts and ideas referred are backed with research and/or interviews. Desk-based reviews are not encouraged. Your submission should be included in the body of the email and/or in an attached Microsoft Word document (no PDFs).Do NOT send your articles to various publications simultaneously.
