The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is considering hosting Pakistan for a white-ball series in July-August, though no final decision has been reached.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is considering hosting Pakistan for a white-ball series in July-August, though no final decision has been reached.

A BCB confirmed that discussions are ongoing, with both showing a positive outlook on the proposed series, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is.

Reports suggest PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and BCB President Faruque Ahmed discussed the series during a meeting in Dubai amid the Champions Trophy.

Bangladesh is already scheduled to tour Pakistan in late May for a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series under the ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP).

Now, the BCB is assessing the feasibility of hosting Pakistan for another white-ball series later in the year.

BCB Cricket Operations Head Shahriar Nafees stated that talks between the two boards are ongoing and both sides are optimistic about the potential series.

After the Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe in a two-Test series in mid-April, with matches in Sylhet and Chattogram.

Bangladesh will host Sri Lanka in June-July and India in August-September, with both series featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
