Tragedy in Charsadda: Justice Demanded for Young Victim

According to police sources, an eight year old child was found dead in Tangi, Charsadda, after being attacked and strangled. The unfortunate occurrence occurred in Umar Khan Kalay Gundheri on Wednesday, causing fury and mourning among the community.

The victim’s father, Akbar Ali, informed authorities that his two daughters went to a neighboring seminary and then to their aunt’s house for milk. The older sister went home, while the younger remained behind. When she did not return, the family began searching for her, eventually discovering her dead in neighboring fields.

According to an early medical assessment, the youngster was abused before being died. Her body was sent to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem investigation.

District Police Officer Mohammad Waqas Khan has organized a special investigative squad to locate and apprehend the perpetrator. He spoke with the victim’s relatives and assured them of prompt justice. Locals have threatened protests if the culprit is not arrested within three days.
