Sending a confidential tip

If you have information you believe should be public and you need to protect yourself, do not use a work computer, a work email address, or a work phone. Contact us from a personal device on a network you trust, at founder@themarkhortimes.com. Tell us what protection you need before you send anything sensitive, and we will agree how to proceed.

We cannot guarantee confidentiality until we have agreed the terms with you.

Pitching us

We commission freelance work occasionally. Send a short pitch — what the story is, why now, what you can prove, and two links to previous work — to editorial@themarkhortimes.com with "PITCH" in the subject line. We reply to pitches we intend to take up, usually within a week.
