Pakistani Medical Student Sets Record with 17 Gold Medals

Qandeel Murtaza, a medical student from Haripur, has made history by winning 17 gold medals at Khyber Girls Medical College. Her amazing achievement has made her one of the most talked-about students in Pakistan.

Qandeel completed her MBBS degree in May 2026 and was declared the “Best Graduate” of her batch. During the convocation ceremony in Peshawar, her name was announced again and again for top positions in different subjects.

She belongs to a simple family. Her father is a tailor, but the family always believed in education and hard work. Her siblings are also highly successful, including an FIA officer, a PhD holder, and an engineer.

After graduation, Qandeel also topped the PGMI PGR Induction Test in January 2026. She is now working as a Trainee Medical Officer at Hayatabad Medical Complex.

The ceremony also honoured other talented students. Muqaddas received 10 gold medals, while Sabeeh secured seven gold medals.

Qandeel’s story is now inspiring young students, especially girls, to believe in their dreams and continue working hard for their goals.
