On June 23, Pakistan Air Force fighter jets gave a grand aerial welcome to Iranian President Masoud Pezishkian upon his arrival in Pakistan on an official visit. The special aerial salute highlighted the strong ties between Pakistan and Iran.
As soon as the Iranian President’s plane entered Pakistani airspace, it was received by a special PAF escort squadron. A squadron of six fighter jets provided security cover and presented an aerial salute to the President of Iran.
After receiving the Iranian delegation, the PAF formation leader Zaheer Ahmad conveyed the best wishes of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the people of Pakistan to the Iranian President and congratulated him on his arrival in Pakistan.
A formal reception was held at the Prime Minister’s House, where the Pak armed forces presented a guard of honor to the Iranian president. The formation leader said it is part of Pakistan’s tradition to honor visiting heads of state.
The visit comes amid ongoing diplomatic engagements between the two countries Pakistan and Iran. The visit aims to expand bilateral cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
