Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has finalized his new cabinet, comprising 15 ministers and five advisers, marking a significant development in the provincial government. The appointment of these officials was approved following the submission of a summary to KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali and is set to be formalized with a swearing-in ceremony later in the day.

The newly appointed ministers include prominent figures such as Arshad Ayub Khan, Shakeel Ahmad, and Fazal Hakim Khan, among others, while advisers to the chief minister include Syed Fakhar Jehan and Muzamil Aslam. This strategic selection of cabinet members follows discussions between CM Gandapur and PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where various matters, including the formation of the provincial cabinet, were deliberated.

The political landscape in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is undergoing significant shifts with the recent electoral victories of PTI-backed independents aligned with the Sunni Ittehad Council. This political realignment has reshaped the provincial assembly, with over 85 out of 115 general seats secured by these independent candidates.

As the province moves forward under this new leadership, a focus on law and order remains a top priority for CM Gandapur’s administration. The commitment to ensuring adequate funds for law enforcement underscores the government’s dedication to enhancing security and stability within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
