Drains and waterways could not handle the water, and important roads like Qamar Sialvi Road and Katchery Road went completely underwater. WAPDA Colony was also flooded, and the Bhimber Nullah rose to dangerous levels, creating big risks for people living nearby.

The situation was not limited to Gujarat. Shakargarh and Zafarwal also faced flooding. In Abbottabad, fast-moving water caused flash floods that destroyed a bridge. This cut off access to nearby villages and left many residents stuck.
