Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are ecstatic with the release of the extended version of his latest blockbuster film, Pathaan, on Amazon Prime Video. The film was released on March 22 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, and included some previously deleted scenes. Fans took to social media to express their excitement, and the film received record advance bookings, with exhibitors adding midnight shows to cater to the demand.

Critics have also praised the film and the return of the “King of Bollywood.” Film reviewer Shubhra Gupta wrote in The Indian Express that “Bollywood is back. Shah Rukh Khan is back.” Meanwhile, Deepanjana Pal, writing for the FilmCompanion, described Pathaan as “a hero for today’s India” and praised Khan’s portrayal of a more mature and responsible character than his previous romantic hero roles.

The film follows the story of Pathaan, a suave Indian spy played by Khan, who embarks on a mission to thwart a terrorist group’s attack on India. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also star in the film’s primary roles.

Overall, Pathaan has been well-received by both fans and critics, showcasing Shah Rukh Khan’s enduring popularity and his ability to evolve and adapt to new roles and characters.
