During the meeting, officials discussed several important security issues. They are also expected to look at ways to improve military cooperation and make their armed forces work together more effectively.
Another key area is defense technology. The three countries may increase cooperation in defense production, research and the development of new technologies.
The officials also discussed stronger efforts against terrorism. Joint action in this area could help the countries respond better to shared security threats.
The committee will also work on creating a clear system to manage future cooperation. This includes plans for a permanent secretariat and other arrangements to coordinate activities under the agreement.
