Islamabad United’s fast bowling consultant, Rumman Raees, has temporarily stepped away from his role in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 following the death of his sister.
The former Pakistan pacer shared the news on social media, where he also asked for prayers for the departed soul. His message was met with sympathy and support from fans and fellow players.
As a result, Rumman will not be accompanying Islamabad United for their next fixture against Multan Sultans, scheduled for April 23 in Multan. Team officials, however, are hopeful he could return in time for their match against Lahore Qalandars on April 30 in Lahore.
