Bilawal Bhutto wedding rumors have created a buzz on social media, but PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has now clearly rejected the reports. He said that claims about his engagement and wedding are not true and asked people not to believe the social media talk.
Bilawal said that social media had already announced his engagement and wedding without any truth behind the claims. He also said that he does not know anyone named Princess Gloria, who was mentioned in some reports.
The PPP chairman explained that if he makes any important decision about his personal life, his family will make the announcement. Until then, he urged people to ignore the rumors.
The reports claimed that Bilawal was preparing to marry into a European family. Some reports also said that his father, President Asif Ali Zardari, had travelled to Liechtenstein to discuss the possible wedding.
There were further claims that Bilawal’s possible bride was a former Austrian princess. However, he has now rejected these reports and said that no engagement or wedding has taken place.
Bilawal also said that the marriage rumors could distract people from serious problems facing the country. He then turned attention to the tragic fire at PIMS hospital in Islamabad, where 14 infants reportedly lost their lives. He criticized Health Minister Mustafa Kamal over the incident and questioned the government’s handling of important public issues.
He also spoke about calls for creating new provinces in Pakistan. He said such major decisions should be discussed through the proper constitutional and political process. He stressed that the Sindh Assembly should be the place for discussions about matters concerning Sindh.
Bilawal says that there is no engagement or wedding announcement, and he has asked the public to focus on Pakistan’s important political and social issues instead of social media speculation.
