Pakistani cricketers are not expected to face participation hurdles in The Hundred, despite the increasing involvement of IPL, ECB said.
Pakistani players have been absent from other IPL-affiliated leagues such as SA20, ILT20, and Major League Cricket (MLC).
However, they have regularly competed in The Hundred, which the ECB has sought to promote as a competition featuring the top players.
The ECB does not expect IPL franchise investments in The Hundred to change the stance of India on allowing its male cricketers to participate.
The ECB recently confirmed that it had secured agreements with eight private investors, valuing the tournament at over £975 million.
The cricket authority in England and Wales further added that these investors are set to enter talks with host counties over the coming weeks.
The investors include RPSG Group, Sun TV Network, Reliance Industries, and GMR Group, who have aligned with teams such as Manchester Originals and Oval Invincibles.
It is believed that their involvement could enhance broadcast value in India, though BCCI has not altered its policy barring active male players from overseas leagues.
ECB Chief Richard Gould said Indian player participation was not a factor in expansion and affirmed Pakistani cricketers remain welcome.
Officials suggested that collaboration with IPL owners could help prevent future scheduling clashes with global T20 competitions.
