Lahore, Pakistan — Multiple inbound flights to Lahore were abruptly diverted late Thursday morning, as air traffic monitoring platforms showed aircraft rerouting mid-air, including Air Arabia flight FJL503, which turned back near Multan.

The diversions occurred as unverified reports circulated on Pakistani media claiming that an Indian missile may have struck Gujranwala. No official confirmation has been issued by either government.

AirBlue flight PA411 from Dubai to Lahore, an Airbus A320-214, was rerouted to Multan. Visual data from flight radar sources confirms multiple aircraft avoiding Lahore airspace.

Local residents also reported intense lightning and heavy cloud cover over Lahore around the same time, which could also account for temporary airspace closures. Authorities have not made a formal statement.

More details to follow as the situation develops.
