She passed away on April 12, 2026, in Mumbai at Breach Candy Hospital after facing serious health issues. Her family confirmed the sad news and said her last rites will be held with full state honors. Fans, singers, and celebrities are sharing emotional messages and paying tribute to her unforgettable legacy.

Asha Bhosle started singing at a very young age and worked hard to build her career. She sang more than 12,000 songs in many languages. From romantic songs to fast dance numbers, she could sing every style beautifully. Her famous songs like “Dum Maro Dum,” “Chura Liya Hai Tumne,” and “Piya Tu Ab To Aaja” are still loved today.

She won many big awards in her life, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan. Her voice was full of life, emotion, and energy, which made her different from others. She also faced many personal struggles in her life but stayed strong and continued her journey.
