In response to the complete washout of Pakistan Super League 9 matches in Rawalpindi, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a transparent process for refunding tickets for the postponed matches. The PCB has provided an update on the complete refund of ticket values for the affected matches.
Tickets Purchased Through Express Centres
Ticket-buyers who purchased tickets through Express Centres can apply for refunds starting from Tuesday, 12 March. Details regarding the refund process will be posted on the corporate and event websites during the week. Ticket buyers will need to present the original CNICs used for purchasing tickets along with physical tickets to complete the refund process.
Tickets Purchased Online
The refund process for tickets purchased online will commence on Tuesday, 12 March, and the reimbursements will be credited directly into the buyers’ booking bank accounts.
Corporate Purchases
Tickets purchased through corporate transactions will only be refunded to the corporate entity. Individual refund requests will not be entertained to prevent duplicate refunds.
Refund Policy
As per Clause 2.1 of the Ticket Refund Policy, the PCB will provide a complete refund of the ticket value for Saturday’s matches. Clause 2.1 states that if a match is canceled for any reason, including adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, before the toss for such match taking place, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving a valid request, as per Clause 3.3 of the policy.
