Maryam accuses ex-CJP’s son

Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has accused the son of the former chief justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar of taking money in exchange for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tickets.

She made the statement in response to an alleged audio leak of Najam Saqib, where he could be heard discussing taking money for a PTI ticket. Maryam also blamed PTI chief Imran Khan and his “entire gang” for the country’s economic problems, accusing Imran of being a “terrorist.”

Maryam claimed that Justice Mazahir Akbar Naqvi and Justice Ijazul Ahsan’s suo motu notice were responsible for all the problems faced by the country today. She also criticized the three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial for imposing a particular person on the country.

Maryam also criticized the current government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that they were not adequately prepared to deal with the crisis and failed to provide necessary medical supplies and facilities to the people. She further accused the ruling party of trying to suppress dissent and criticism by using state institutions to silence opposition voices.

Maryam Nawaz vowed to continue fighting for the rights of the people and holding the government accountable for its actions. She urged her supporters to unite and stand up against the injustices being committed by the current regime.
