PPP Chairman Urges Nation to Vote for ‘Arrow’ in Election

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari addressed a rally in Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali on Sunday, urging the nation to vote for the ‘arrow’ in the upcoming general election. His comments came a day after the PTI lost its iconic ‘bat’ electoral symbol, forcing its candidates to contest as independents.

Bilawal stated that only two parties remained in the electoral arena: the PPP and the PML-N. He emphasized that the people had to decide between the PPP and the PML-N, emphasizing the importance of their vote in determining the country’s future. The former foreign minister aimed at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, questioning if the people wanted to give the country’s fate to a person who served as prime minister three times but failed to do anything for the country. He contrasted this with the PPP, which he claimed practiced politics for the poor and contested elections to save the public and the country from those who sought to exploit it.

Bilawal also highlighted the PPP’s commitment to completing the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline to address the issues of Balochistan. He promised to form a PPP-led government, stating that the country needed a party dedicated to serving the poor rather than the PML-N, which only served the rich.

In Sindh, Bilawal addressed another rally in Khairpur, where he promised the people that the leaders they elect would not forget the public after winning the elections. He also criticized the caretaker government for halting the PPP’s development works for months and depriving flood affectees in Sindh of their rights. The PPP’s success in the upcoming elections, Bilawal insisted, depended on the voters in Sindh. He concluded his address by urging the people to vote for the PPP in the upcoming general elections.

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s message to the nation is clear: vote for the ‘arrow’ (PPP) in the upcoming general election to ensure a brighter future for Pakistan. By focusing on the poor and addressing pressing issues such as the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, the PPP aims to create a more equitable and prosperous country for all its citizens.
