According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Prime Minister has approved public holidays from May 26 to May 28, 2026, on the occasion of Eid ul Adha.

Pakistan will observe Eid ul AdhaEid ul Adha on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, after the moon of Zilhaj was sighted.
The announcement was made by the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee after its meeting held at the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) office in Karachi. The meeting was chaired by Maulana Azad, where the committee confirmed the sighting of the Zilhaj crescent moon.
