In a diplomatic overture that holds the promise of fostering cultural exchanges and promoting tourism, the Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, embarked on a visit to Gilgit-Baltistan House in Islamabad. Accompanied by an entourage of international media personnel, this visit was undertaken at the gracious invitation of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Secretary, Mohiyuddin Wani.

The meeting served as a forum for Chief Secretary Wani and key officials from the Gilgit-Baltistan government to provide international media representatives with a comprehensive briefing on the remarkable social sector reforms implemented in the region over the past two years. Additionally, the gathering unveiled the untapped tourism potential that Gilgit-Baltistan holds, inviting the world to explore its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Eager to explore the enchanting landscapes and vibrant culture of Gilgit-Baltistan, the international media delegation expressed a deep interest in organizing future visits to the region, paving the way for enhanced global awareness and engagement with this breathtaking part of the world.
