Pakistan’s motorcycle market is set to welcome a new competitor. Royal Power Pakistan has partnered with Thailand’s GPX Motor to introduce the brand in the country under the name Royal GPX. The new venture aims to offer modern motorcycles with stylish designs, advanced features, and competitive prices.
The agreement was signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Royal Power Pakistan and GPX founder Chaiyos Ruamjaipattanakul. The company plans to begin launching motorcycles in Pakistan from June 2026.
What is GPX?
GPX is a well-known motorcycle brand from Thailand. The company was founded in 2007. It started by manufacturing ATVs and motocross bikes before expanding into commuter and sports motorcycles.
Over the years, GPX has become one of Thailand’s leading motorcycle manufacturers. The company now exports its motorcycles to several countries, including Japan, Malaysia, Greece, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
Royal GPX Motorcycles in Pakistan
Under the new partnership, GPX motorcycles will be sold in Pakistan as Royal GPX. Royal Power Pakistan will manage local operations, distribution, and dealership networks.
The company has introduced several models for the Pakistani market:
GPX Libre 125
GPX Libre 150
GPX Raptor Plus RZ200
GPX Demon GR200R
GPX Demon GR250R
These motorcycles target different riders, from daily commuters to sports bike enthusiasts.
Why GPX Could Attract Buyers
One of the biggest advantages of GPX motorcycles is their value for money. Many models offer modern features at lower prices than similar Japanese motorcycles.
Popular features include:
Fuel Injection (EFI)
ABS braking system
Traction Control
Digital instrument display
LED lighting
The brand is also known for attractive styling and larger engine options in the premium segment.
Challenges for the Brand
Despite its strengths, GPX may face some challenges in Pakistan. Some reviewers say certain models focus more on looks than outright performance. Others have pointed out minor issues with component quality on a few motorcycles.
Another challenge is resale value. Since GPX is a newer brand in Pakistan, used motorcycles may lose value faster compared to established brands such as Honda and Suzuki.
A New Choice for Pakistani Riders
The arrival of Royal GPX is expected to increase competition in Pakistan’s motorcycle market. Riders looking for modern features, sporty designs, and affordable prices may find the new brand attractive.
With several models planned for launch and a nationwide dealership network in development, Royal GPX hopes to build a strong presence in Pakistan and offer customers more choices in the growing premium motorcycle segment.
