An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has delivered its verdict in the high-profile Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar case, sentencing three individuals to seven years in prison, while acquitting eight others due to lack of evidence.

As per the details, the ruling was announced by ATC Judge Arshad Javed, who had earlier reserved the judgment.
Those convicted—Amna Urooj, Mamnoon Haider, and Zeeshan—were found guilty of demanding ransom. However, the court stated that the prosecution failed to prove the charges of kidnapping against them.

The eight individuals acquitted in the case include Hafiz Iqbal, Falak Sher, Qaiser Abbas, Tanveer Ahmed, Rasheed Ahmed, Yasir Ali, and Hassan Shah.
