Spider-Man: Brand New Day has taken the global box office by storm. The blockbuster movie has earned an impressive $1.709 billion worldwide in just 12 days, making it the highest-grossing movie of 2026 so far.
The film has performed strongly in both North America and international markets. It has earned around $671.2 million in the United States and Canada, while overseas it’s about $1.013 billion.
The movie is now moving closer to the $2 billion mark. If the strong box office run continues, it could become one of the biggest superhero movies ever released.
The story follows Peter Parker, who now lives a quieter life while continuing his work as Spider-Man. However, a dangerous change and the arrival of a powerful new enemy force him into another major fight.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker. The movie was written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, with additional material from Justin Kuritzkes.
The film premiered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on July 27, 2026, before arriving in cinemas across the United States on July 31. It is part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has become a major box office success. The big question now is whether the film can reach $2 billion and climb even higher on the list of the world’s most successful movies.
