Sunjay Kapur, the former husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away at the age of 53 after suffering a heart attack during a polo match in the United Kingdom.
According to sources, Kapur collapsed on the field and was rushed to the hospital, but medical staff were unable to revive him. The tragic incident occurred on June 12 and has sent shockwaves through both business and entertainment circles.

Sunjay Kapur, a prominent businessman and chairman of the Sona Group, was previously married to Karisma Kapoor in 2004. The marriage, Kapur’s second, lasted over a decade before the couple separated in 2016. They have two children together, whose custody was granted to Karisma after a prolonged legal battle.
Following the divorce, Kapur remarried in 2017, tying the knot with model and entrepreneur Priya Sachdev. He was based in both India and the UK, frequently attending social and sporting events.
