How Isha Ambani Mixed Indian Culture with Fashion at Met Gala 2026

Isha wore a saree designed by Gaurav Gupta. The saree was made with pure gold threads and included hand-painted artwork. One of the biggest highlights of Isha’s look was her heavily decorated blouse. It was covered with around 1,800 carats of diamonds, emeralds, and polki stones. The blouse also featured a historic Nizam of Hyderabad sarpech attached at the back.

Isha Ambani unique fashion look at Met Gala 2026. Her outfit quickly went viral on social media because it was not just stylish, but also deeply connected to Indian culture and art.

A Gold Sare:

Isha wore a saree designed by Gaurav Gupta. The saree was made with pure gold threads and included hand-painted artwork. The outfit took more than 1,200 hours to complete.

1,800 Carats of Diamonds and Emeralds:

One of the biggest highlights of Isha’s look was her heavily decorated blouse. It was covered with around 1,800 carats of diamonds, emeralds, and polki stones. The blouse also featured a historic Nizam of Hyderabad sarpech attached at the back. This unique detail created a lot of discussion online, with many people praising the royal touch.

The Viral Mango Accessory:

Another thing that grabbed attention was the mango she carried in her hand. At first, many people believed it was a real mango, but later it was revealed that it was actually a steel sculpture made by famous Indian artist Subodh Gupta. The sculpture was part of his “Aam Aadmi” series and is said to be around 20 years old. The mango sculpture is worth nearly ₹95 lakh, or about $100,000.

A Unique Hairpiece Inspired by Jasmine Flowers:

Isha also wore a special jasmine-inspired hairpiece designed by Sourabh Gupta. The piece was made using paper, copper, and brass. It took around 150 hours to complete. The design gave a modern look to the traditional mogra gajra style often worn by women in South Asia.

“Mom, Mom, Mom” Video Went Viral:

A behind-the-scenes video of Isha also went viral on social media. In the clip, she happily pointed toward her jewellery and repeatedly said, “Mom, mom, mom,” while showing that the diamonds and emeralds belonged to her mother, Nita Ambani.

Fashion experts believe Isha Ambani’s look became special because it was not only about luxury. Her outfit mixed fashion, art, history, and Indian culture together. From the gold saree to the mango sculpture, every detail had a story behind it.
