In a quiet and intimate gathering, Musa Maneka, the son of Pakistan’s former First Lady Bushra Bibi and Khawar Maneka, tied the knot in a family-only wedding ceremony held at the Maneka family’s farmhouse on Bedian Road, Lahore.

Despite the low-key nature of the event, several prominent members of the Maneka family and political figures were in attendance. These included MNA Mian Ahmad Raza Maneka, MPA Mian Farooq Maneka, Mian Asif Maneka, and former MPA Diwan Azmat Syed Muhammad Chishti. Sources confirmed that the event was kept deliberately small, with only close family and friends present.
The ceremony was emotionally significant, given the absence of Bushra Bibi, who is currently serving a seven-year jail sentence. She was convicted earlier this year under Section 496 of the Pakistan Penal Code, related to contracting marriage during her Iddat period, as well as charges linked to the Al-Qadir University Project Trust corruption case, in which her husband, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, is also imprisoned.

Despite the family’s ongoing legal and political challenges, the wedding offered a rare moment of celebration. The lush farmhouse served as the backdrop for a peaceful union, where loved ones came together to mark the beginning of a new chapter for Musa Maneka.
