Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been cautioned by royal commentator Daniels Elser not to “bite the hand that feeds them” following their recent comments about their struggles with the British Royal Family. Elser pointed out that the couple’s financial dependence on a corporate sponsor with deep pockets, namely Netflix, has left them vulnerable and unable to criticize their benefactor, even if it means the media giant may be exploiting the late Princess Diana’s story for profit.
Elser noted that the couple’s luxurious lifestyle in California, in addition to the cost of their bodyguards, has left them with a significant financial burden, which they are unable to shoulder alone. Consequently, they must rely on external support to maintain their income and lifestyle, making it challenging for them to speak out against their corporate sponsors.
