Karachi Kings edged out Lahore Qalandars in a gripping four-wicket win during the 24th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday. The victory moved the 2020 champions to third place in the league standings, overtaking their rivals.
Batting first, Lahore put up a competitive 160 for 8 in their 20 overs. Their innings was anchored by Mohammad Naeem and Fakhar Zaman, both of whom scored brisk half-centuries. Naeem was the top scorer with 65 runs from just 29 balls, while Zaman added 51 off 33.
However, Lahore’s middle order struggled to maintain the early momentum. Karachi’s Abbas Afridi delivered a standout bowling performance, taking four wickets for 27 runs in just three overs. He was backed by Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza, and Aamir Jamal, who each claimed one wicket.

Due to a rain interruption, Karachi were given a revised target of 168 in 15 overs. Contributions from David Warner, Tim Seifert (both scoring 24), Saad Baig (25), and Mohammad Nabi (15) ensured the Kings reached the target with three balls remaining.
With this win, Karachi earned their fifth victory in eight matches, tying with Islamabad United on points but trailing on net run rate. Lahore, after their fourth loss, slipped to fourth place.
