two matches re-scheduled in PSL

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has made slight changes to the schedule of two matches for its upcoming 10th season, following a request from broadcasters who faced logistical challenges.

Sources close to the matter shared that the day match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, which was originally planned for May 1 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will now be held on May 6 at the same ground.

Meanwhile, the game between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, earlier set for May 10, has been pushed back by a day and will now be played under lights on May 11.

It is understood that broadcasters approached PSL management, pointing out difficulties in managing the original dates. After internal discussions, the league agreed to make minor adjustments to support the broadcasters’ needs.

There were also conversations about possibly moving the matches from Multan to Lahore to ease the pressure. However, officials decided to keep the fixtures in Multan, keeping the venue unchanged despite the shift in dates.

Authorities stressed that only the dates and timings have been revised, while the location remains the same. Fans planning to attend or follow the matches have been advised to check the updated schedule through official PSL platforms.

The decision reflects the league’s flexibility in working with partners to ensure a smooth tournament experience. With Multan retaining its hosting rights, local supporters are still set to enjoy live PSL action as initially planned.

The PSL season 10 is shaping up to be a major sporting event, with expectations of strong attendance and high television viewership across Pakistan.
