As the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 begins in the United States, attention is not only on the teams but also on the official match ball—crafted in Pakistan. Designed by Adidas, the ball, known as the Club World Cup 25 Pro Ball, blends American symbolism with Pakistani manufacturing excellence.

Unveiled earlier this year, the ball features a stars-and-stripes design and is built with 61% polyurethane, 30% recycled polyester, and 9% viscose. It incorporates Adidas’ latest PRECISIONSHELL technology, a 20-panel thermally bonded surface that enhances aerodynamic performance and ball control. A built-in motion sensor further integrates smart tracking technology for offside decisions and player movement data.

Adidas confirmed the ball was developed over 18 months to achieve a bold and iconic design. Manufactured in Pakistan, a global hub for football production, the ball has already earned praise for its performance in early testing.

Tests conducted at Loughborough University in the UK revealed that players achieved faster and more controlled strikes with the new ball. Although robot testing showed similar speeds across various brands, human players preferred the Adidas ball for its firmness, stability, and superior flight during long passes.

Experts say the ball’s unique grooves increase spin and accuracy. While players noted its smaller “sweet spot,” they appreciated its consistent behavior during open play. Adidas also guarantees its shape retention with a two-year warranty.
