Pakistan and Afghanistan will face off in the final of the UAE T20 Tri-Series 2025 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday (today).

Both sides won three out of their four matches in the group stage, with Pakistan finishing at the top of the table and Afghanistan securing second place.

In their last outing, Afghanistan edged past the UAE by four runs, posting 170/4 before restricting the hosts to 166/5. Ibrahim Zadran’s 48 off 35 balls earned him the Player of the Match award.

Pakistan, on the other hand, sealed a convincing 31-run win over the UAE after setting a target of 171/5, thanks to Fakhar Zaman’s unbeaten 77 off 44 balls. The UAE could only manage 140/7 in reply.

Pitch Report: The surface at Sharjah is expected to favor batters, with an average first-innings score of 181 runs across the last 10 games. Teams batting first have won seven of those encounters, making the toss an important factor. Both pacers and spinners are likely to find some assistance from the wicket.
