Instagram influencer Nyla Raja has publicly denied any involvement in the personal life of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, following widespread speculation suggesting her connection to the athlete’s alleged marital troubles with his wife Sania Ashfaq.

In a strongly worded statement posted on her Instagram account, Raja called the rumors “baseless” and expressed frustration at being pulled into what she described as a “deeply personal matter” unrelated to her.

“How on earth can a simple, harmless story lead to someone’s divorce?” she questioned, referencing a viral clip that ignited the controversy.

The video in question, filmed outside a glasses store, allegedly shows Imad walking alongside a woman believed to be Raja. The footage spread rapidly across social media, sparking assumptions and unfounded allegations.

Raja clarified that the video was originally posted on her public Instagram story during a routine outing and had been misrepresented:

“Whoever recorded it chose to zoom in on just one angle,” she stated, noting that several other people were present at the time.

“Please Be Mindful,” Says Nyla

Calling out media outlets and the online community, Raja urged restraint in targeting women with groundless accusations, stating:

“At the end of the day, I’m also a woman. Please be mindful.”

As of now, neither Imad Wasim nor Sania Ashfaq has made an official statement regarding the circulating rumors. However, Raja’s response underscores her intent to distance herself from the speculation surrounding the cricketer’s private life.

The incident highlights the pressures of public scrutiny and the often unfounded narratives that viral content can generate on social media.
