The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the prize money structure for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled in Pakistan and UAE.
Returning after an eight-year hiatus, the tournament will feature eight of the top ODI teams, competing for a total prize pool of $6.9 million.
The champions will claim $2.24 million, while the runners-up will earn $1.12 million. Teams that exit at the semi-final stage will each receive $560,000.
Group stage matches carry additional financial incentives, with each win securing over $34,000.
Teams placed fifth and sixth will earn $350,000 each, seventh and eighth $140,000, with all teams guaranteed at least $125,000.
The tournament is Pakistan’s first ICC event since 1996, featuring two groups of four, with the top two advancing to the semi-finals.
Defending champions Pakistan are set to face New Zealand in Karachi on February 19, before their much-anticipated clash against India in Dubai on February 23.
