A fox made a surprise appearance at Lord’s during a match in The Hundred, momentarily interrupting play between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles. Over 26,000 spectators witnessed the amusing delay before the action resumed.
Once the game got back on track, it was one-way traffic as the Invincibles comfortably chased down Spirit’s total of 80 runs, winning with six wickets and plenty of balls to spare.
Spirit’s innings never gathered momentum. Aside from brief efforts from Wayne Madsen, Ashton Turner, and Ryan Higgins, most batters failed to get into double digits.

The team’s collapse was highlighted by the struggles of experienced names like David Warner, Kane Williamson, and Liam Dawson.
Rashid Khan led the charge for the Invincibles with three wickets and three catches, while Sam Curran matched his wicket tally. Jordan Clark added two more, with Behrendorff and Sowter contributing one each.
The Invincibles wrapped up the target within 14 overs, with the fox’s cameo perhaps the most entertaining moment for Spirit fans.
