Pakistan cricket stars, Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, attended the opening ceremony of the Ramazan Sports Series at the Hockey Stadium Lahore, which was organized by Wahab Riaz, the Sports Advisor of the CM Punjab. The event featured various sports, including hockey, tape ball cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, and kabaddi.

Both players had just completed a training camp at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore before attending the opening ceremony. They praised Wahab for organizing a fantastic event that will keep the youth involved in sports. Shaheen also mentioned that the prize money was good, which will help the players.

The event aimed to develop sports talent in Pakistan, and Wahab expressed his gratitude towards the Interim CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi for trusting him and allowing him to host the event. He also thanked the sponsors for their support, despite the short notice, to make the event successful.

The Ramazan Sports Festival involved nine divisions of Punjab and will take place for five days until April 11. The opening game of the tournament resulted in Lahore Division securing a 7-1 victory over Bahawalpur Division.

The tournament has attracted a lot of attention and has received positive feedback from the public. The Ramazan Sports Series is an excellent opportunity for young and aspiring athletes to showcase their talent and compete against some of the best players in the province.

Wahab’s vision is to host similar events in the future, which will help in developing sports talent in Pakistan. The festival also provides an excellent platform for local businesses to showcase their products and services.

The Ramazan Sports Series has started with a bang, and the public can expect some thrilling matches and displays of talent over the next few days. It is a great initiative by Wahab Riaz and the CM Punjab to promote sports in the country and provide opportunities for young athletes to shine.
