A 19 year old boy was shot and killed in Lavender Hill, a neighborhood on the Cape Flats in what police believe was a gang-related attack.
Police officers arrived at the scene after reports of gunfire. When they reached the area, they found the young man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, medical teams could only confirm that he had died at the scene.
The suspects escaped before police arrived, and no arrests have been made yet. Authorities believe that the shooting may be connected to ongoing gang violence in the area.
