Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has called upon his party workers to seek justice against the wrongs being committed by the government. Addressing his supporters after Iftar at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore, he urged them to continue their quest for true freedom, or “Haqiqi Azadi”, and said that the nation will never accept slavery.
Khan reminded his supporters about the attack on his house last month and the arrest of party workers. He accused the government of trying to depict them as slaves. “The facilitators have imposed a gang of thieves considering us slaves,” he said. He added that his party members have been subjected to injustices and urged his workers to gear up against them.
Khan spoke about the immense abilities that Allah has blessed humans with and stated that he has learned everything from his life, even though he is not an Islamic scholar. He reminded his supporters that the revolution brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ensured freedom, equality, and justice in society.
He also criticized the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, stating that a leader is not afraid and that cowards become people like Nawaz Sharif.
Khan emphasized the importance of a free nation standing up for freedom and stated that enslaved people do not fight for freedom. He pointed out that the Indians did not fight against invading forces who came to conquer India through Afghanistan, as they were already slaves. In contrast, Afghanistan defeated three conquering superpowers.
Khan called for a war of freedom for which the whole nation has to prepare. He urged his party workers to continue fighting against the injustices meted out to his party members.
