A meeting of the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) is scheduled for June 13 in Lahore to decide the official dates for announcing the results of Class 9 and 10 examinations. So far, no final decision has been made, and students across the province remain in anticipation.

The meeting is expected to bring clarity to the timeline for result declarations, which follow annual exams held earlier in May. Education board officials are likely to finalise the dates during this session, putting an end to the growing uncertainty among students and parents.

Thousands of students who appeared for matriculation exams are now waiting for their results, which are considered a significant milestone in their academic journey. The outcome will influence their choice of academic stream in intermediate studies—whether science, commerce, or humanities—and determine eligibility for college or vocational training institutes.

Teachers and parents have also expressed concern as academic and career decisions often hinge on these results. Many families are delaying planning for the next academic session until the results are made public.

While the boards are yet to confirm the specific dates, officials have indicated that the outcome of the June 13 meeting will be shared promptly to ease the anxiety of students and their families. In the meantime, educational institutions have encouraged students to stay calm and focus on planning their next steps based on possible outcomes.
