MOL Pakistan has launched the fifth batch of its Management Trainee Program for students from communities in the TAL Block operational area, marking five consecutive years of investment in local youth development.

Assessment tests were held in Kohat, with selected candidates set to join a one-year program offering hands-on rotations across MOL Pakistan’s business functions, one-on-one professional mentorship, and structured workplace training. Past graduates have gone on to secure roles across Pakistan’s energy and corporate sectors.

The program is a flagship component of MOL Pakistan’s community investment strategy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rather than one-off sponsorships, the company has built a sustainable, year-on-year pathway that gives talented students from host communities access to professional exposure.

Commenting on the launch, Ali Murtaza Abbas, Regional Vice President, MOL Group, said: “Five batches in, we are seeing real impact with students from TAL Block who have developed into confident, capable professionals. This program exists because we believe in empowering our local communities to build a skilled and well-trained workforce for the long term. We look forward to seeing what this new cohort goes on to achieve.”

Ádám László, the CEO/MD of MOL Pakistan, stated on the occasion: “We are proud of the work that MOL continues to do in Pakistan by implementing initiatives like the Management Trainee Program to support the careers of the youth of our local communities”

MOL Pakistan, a wholly owned subsidiary of MOL Group, has operated in Pakistan’s energy sector since 1999, holding working interests in several key blocks including TAL and Margalla. The Management Trainee Program reflects the company’s broader commitment to socio-economic development in the communities where it operates.
