Born on April 18, 2001, at MH Hospital in Rawalpindi, Kashif’s upbringing was marked by the frequent relocations typical of a military family. He attended several schools due to his father’s service in the Pakistan Army, including F.G School Okara Cantt, F.G High School Taxila Cantt, and APSACS JARIKAS in Mirpur Azad Kashmir. Despite the challenges of changing schools, Kashif managed to secure 784/1050 marks in the Federal Board Matric Exams,.
Continuing his academic journey, Kashif pursued Pre-Engineering at F.G Liaquat Ali Degree College in Rawalpindi, where he obtained 802/1100 marks in the Federal Board Exams. Despite financial constraints, he enrolled in PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi for his graduation, majoring in Agricultural Engineering. Despite initial setbacks, including receiving five F grades in his first two semesters, Kashif persevered and achieved a commendable 3.16/4 CGPA upon graduation in 2022.
Career Beginnings and YouTube Journey
Kashif’s professional journey took an unexpected turn when his elder brother, Siham Mohsin Majeed, introduced him to the world of freelancing and YouTube in 2018. Despite initially viewing YouTube as a hobby, Kashif began creating content on topics such as hens farming, egg hatching, and business ideas. However, his first channel, “Business Siham,” faced a setback when it was hacked in Ramadan 2019, despite having amassed 40,000 subscribers.
Undeterred by this setback, Kashif launched a new channel under his own name, “Kashif Majeed,” and continued creating content focused on business ideas. However, it was the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that proved to be a pivotal moment in his career. Recognizing the growing demand for information on earning money from home, Kashif pivoted his content strategy to focus on freelancing and online earning opportunities. His video on “how to earn through freelancing,” based on his brother’s experience, garnered 80,000 views within a week, catapulting his channel to new heights.
