The Kingdom of Morocco has announced 10 fully-funded scholarships for Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) nationals to study in Moroccan public universities for the 2025–26 academic year, according to Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC).

These scholarships cover undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs in fields such as medicine, engineering, management sciences, veterinary sciences, and architecture. Eligible applicants must meet academic and age criteria, with the deadline for online submission set for Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time.

Candidates must be Pakistani or AJK citizens without dual nationality. Undergraduate applicants should have completed 12 years of education (FSc or A-level) and be under 23 years of age. For master’s and PhD programs, 16 and 18 years of education are required, respectively. A valid score from the HAT or USAT test is essential, as selection will be based on these scores.

Due to French being the primary language of instruction in Morocco for most science and business-related subjects, selected students will be expected to take a French language course at Alliance Française centers in Pakistan. Arabic proficiency is required for those applying to programs in Islamic Studies or Arabic Language and Literature.

Applicants must apply through the HEC’s online portal under the Moroccan Government Scholarship Program. No physical documents are needed at this stage. However, shortlisted candidates will later submit official records, certificates, and other required documentation.

Those applying for professional degrees such as medicine or engineering are advised to confirm the accreditation of their selected programs with Pakistan’s relevant professional bodies, including PMDC, PEC, and PBC.
