Influencer Misha Bashir Raises Voice for Brother

Popular Pakistani digital content creator Misha Bashir recently made headlines after sharing an emotional video on social media. In the video, she directly tagged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and appealed for justice for her elder brother.

Misha Bashir is well known for posting Islamic reminders, motivational messages, and videos that correct cultural myths in the light of Islamic teachings. She has a strong following online, and her content is widely shared across social media platforms.

In her recent video, she said that on February 12, a man attacked her elder brother with a hatchet. According to her, the attacker grabbed him by the collar, used abusive language, broke his belongings, and even threatened to kill him in public.

She further explained that her younger brother decided to follow the legal path and went to the police station to register an FIR. However, the police allegedly refused to register the case. The application was delayed for four days. When her brother warned that he would complain to CM Maryam Nawaz, the situation changed.

The next day, police called both parties to the station. But instead of taking action against the attacker, they put Misha’s elder brother in custody. She also claimed that her younger brother was forced to sign a consent paper. Police reportedly told him not to return unless there was blood involved in the next fight.

The video quickly went viral and received 5.5 million views. It eventually reached Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. After reviewing the matter, she ordered immediate action. Misha’s brother was released from custody, and the concerned police officer was suspended.

Later, Misha Bashir shared another video to thank Maryam Nawaz for her quick response. She expressed gratitude and said justice had finally been served.
