PCB Reveals Contingency Plan Amid Potential Asia Cup Boycott

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, Najam Sethi, has revealed a contingency plan involving a trilateral series in the event of a boycott of the Asia Cup.

During an interview with international media, PCB Chairman Najam Sethi disclosed that preparations have commenced for a trilateral series. However, he refrained from divulging whether England or any other specific team would be invited to participate.

Mr. Sethi stated that the decision regarding the venue of the Asia Cup lies with Pakistan, as they are the hosts of the tournament. The PCB is currently awaiting a response from their counterpart, Jay Shankar, to confirm whether they have any objections to the proposed Hybrid model.

Furthermore, Najam Sethi emphasized that every possible effort is being made to overcome the impasse surrounding the Asia Cup.
