As the IPL 2025 season approaches, several teams face challenges due to injuries to key players.

With the tournament drawing near, some franchises have been forced to adjust their plans, signing replacements for the injured.

Kolkata Knight Riders have turned to Chetan Sakariya after express pacer Umran Malik was ruled out due to injury.

Sakariya, who was part of the squad last season, will replace Malik and add depth to their bowling attack.

Mumbai Indians also face setbacks with two replacements. Allah Ghazanfar, bought for ₹ 4.8 Crores, has been sidelined with a back injury and will miss the season.

To fill his spot, MI has brought in Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Additionally, Lizaad Williams, originally acquired for ₹ 75 Lakhs, has been ruled out due to a knee injury.

Corbin Bosch has been signed as his replacement, offering both batting and bowling options.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have also made a change, with Wiaan Mulder replacing Brydon Carse, who aggravated a toe injury during the Champions Trophy.

Mulder, a South African all-rounder, will bring both bowling and batting skills to the team.

With these adjustments, franchises are hoping to maintain their competitive edge in the highly anticipated IPL season.
