The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a revised schedule for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, with Navi Mumbai replacing Bengaluru as one of the host cities.
The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will now stage up to five fixtures, including three league matches, a semifinal, and possibly the final, after Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was ruled out due to unavailability.

The tournament dates remain unchanged September 30 to November 2 with the other venues confirmed as Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo. The final will be played either in Colombo or Navi Mumbai on November 2, while the semifinals are scheduled for October 29 in Guwahati or Colombo and October 30 in Navi Mumbai.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah hailed Navi Mumbai as a strong home for women’s cricket, citing the success of international fixtures and the Women’s Premier League. He said the upcoming World Cup would be a defining moment for the women’s game, not only in India but globally.
The revised schedule includes several high-profile clashes, including the much-anticipated India-Pakistan match on October 5 in Colombo and India-Australia on October 12 in Visakhapatnam.

Warm-up matches will begin on September 25 in Colombo and Bengaluru, while the opening fixture will see India face Sri Lanka in Guwahati on September 30.
