Pakistan has stopped short of blaming India for devastating floods but raised concern over New Delhi bypassing the Indus Waters Treaty and sharing limited data. Fresh discharges into the Sutlej River have caused record flooding in Punjab, breaking embankments and submerging villages.

According to the PDMA, nearly 3.9 million people have been affected, 1.8 million displaced, and 49 lives lost. Relief camps and rescue operations by the Army and civil administration are under way across flood-hit areas.
The Ravi and Chenab rivers are also at high levels, with Multan, Bahawalpur, and Sahiwal among the worst affected. Crops, homes, and livestock have suffered massive damage.

Sindh is now bracing for peak floodwaters, with 528 camps set up and evacuations ongoing in Sukkur, Dadu, and Rohri. Authorities warn this could be one of the worst flood emergencies in decades.
