It is unclear if the sonic boom was of an aircraft. But it is said that the sound heard was of a sonic boom. After speculating the situation, Markhor Times team did a thorough investigation on the matter and talked with people if this was any truth. Confirming the incident, further things came into view.

There is an atomic base near the village from where this boom was heard, around 20-30KMs. Also a noticeable involvement of Pakistani Military in this area is speculated by the natives. The reason of this is still undisclosed, whether it was a mere test involving nuclear equipment. Natives also add that this kind of sound and intensity is felt every now and then.

This adds up to the sonic boom that was heard near DG Khan and got attention of international media.
