Winter Flu Cases Rise Again

As the winter season starts, flu and cold cases are rising quickly in many areas. Doctors say this increase is normal during cold months, but this time the number of patients is higher than usual. The main reason is weak immunity, sudden weather changes, and people spending more time indoors.

Many people are experiencing common symptoms like fever, sore throat, cough, blocked nose, and tiredness. Some complain of body pain and headaches as well. Health experts say the flu spreads easily when people stay close to others in closed rooms. Children, elderly people, and those with weak immunity get sick more often during this season.

Another reason for the rise in infections is that people ignore early symptoms. They continue school, work, or daily routines without rest, which spreads the virus to others. Doctors advise resting at home if symptoms appear, even if they feel mild.

To stay safe, simple daily habits can help a lot. Drinking warm water, washing hands often, eating healthy foods, and covering your mouth while coughing are very important. Ginger tea, soups, and warm liquids also give comfort. People with fever or strong cough should see a doctor for proper guidance.

Health experts also recommend avoiding crowded places when possible. Wearing a mask in public areas helps reduce the chances of catching the virus. If someone at home is sick, keeping some distance and using separate utensils can stop the infection from spreading.

Winter flu is common, but with a little care, most people recover within a few days. Strong immunity plays the biggest role in staying healthy. Sleeping well, eating fruits, and staying warm can protect you during the entire winter season.
